As well as many other projects

Global Impact has taken the initiative to start the Tree Seed Bank, a dedicated cause to preserve the forests of today for tomorrow. We have started to collect seed from the Hardwood and semi-hardwood forests of North America in an effort to regenerate the loss of forests from clear cutting and to educate the land owners to take the necessary steps to preserve our natural resources. We hope to extend our cause throughout the world.

GLOBAL WARMING

A PROBLEM OF THE TIMES

Global warming is theoretically known to be  caused by greenhouse gases from the emissions of burning fossil fuels.

With the onset of global warming can and is melting the polar ice-caps. This reduction in the polar ice caps could theoretically raise the oceans 20 feet. This effect would cover Manhattan as well as most coastal communities.

What can we do?

Donate now and we will use 75% of your donation to offset Greenhouse gases. This is done through Carbon Sequestering (trapping carbon in green initiatives such as forest and woodland protection), reducing GH gases through trappping and using methane from corporate and large scale livestock farms, and burning it to create energy and CO2 . This reduces methane CH4 which has 4 times the greenhouse gas effect as CO2 (carbon dioxide). The use of biodigesters to trap and use the methane reduces greenhouse gases up to 75%.

1. Driving less can reduce daily outputs of greenhouse gases.

2.Buying and driving more gas efficient automobiles. There are cars now that can get more than 70 mpg)

3.Bicycle, and walk  more.

4.Seek out and apply alternative energy sources.

4. We will be offering more information in the near future.
