Global Impact has taken the initiative to start the Tree Seed Bank, a dedicated cause to preserve the forests of today for tomorrow. We have started to collect seed from the Hardwood and semi-hardwood forests of North America in an effort to regenerate the loss of forests from clear cutting and to educate the land owners to take the necessary steps to preserve our natural resources. We hope to extend our cause throughout the world.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

DEFORESTATION AN AGE OLD PROBLEM

Trees, so powerful, grasping firmly to earth, resting gently against the wind, stretching up to touch the sky. Nevermore!

Deforestation is a Problem that has plagued man for millennium, maybe longer. Although it still is happening today, more in the tropical rain forest than elsewhere, but overall, its rampant. the importance today more than ever, is it could have a longer lasting impact than it had in the past. Overpopulation and limited supplies of natural resources could completely annihilate all the worlds forests leaving wasteland. Compare the forests in the future to the poaching of the tiger and rhino for their highly sought out parts for black market industries . Just like those forest products will go and go and go to the highest bidder or until its to the point of no return and the governments have to outlaw cutting of the remaining forests. Lets get started and make a difference now . Go to our reforestation page

If they knew what we know now, back before the day of Christ, about the importance of our forests, and their interrelationship with the entire environment, the cedar forests of Lebanon would still be standing as beautiful as ever. To imagine those forests, and what they were, and or could still be like, but what is left? Desert!.

without our forests there would only be desert.
