Global Impact has taken the initiative to start the Tree Seed Bank, a dedicated cause to preserve the forests of today for tomorrow. We have started to collect seed from the Hardwood and semi-hardwood forests of North America in an effort to regenerate the loss of forests from clear cutting and to educate the land owners to take the necessary steps to preserve our natural resources. We hope to extend our cause throughout the world.

Key Problems of Overpopulation

Insufficient amounts of food and employment to support the masses leading to competition and crime.

 

Disease and dysentery from unsanitary conditions.

 

There is only so much area to support a limited population; also called carrying capacity.

 

Urban sprawl is an example of what is to  come from this population explosion

 

Carrying capacity is the limited ability of an existing area  to support a limited population due to its available supply of living space, food production, shelter, and raw materials needed for that population to sustain itself indefinitely.
