SMOG
Years ago the term Smog meant a mixture of smoke and fog. Ground level ozone is a highly irritating gas formed just above the earths surface when a process known as photochemistry occurs between two primary chemical pollutants. Nitrogen oxides and organic compounds mixed in the presence of sunlight makes this all happen (the process known as photochemistry is the reaction of the chemicals in the presence of sunlight). More can be found on smog at these websites |
